Refunds and cancellations
Change your mind by your refund date and we refund you in full. After that, if something we sold you doesn't work, consumer law covers you.
Updated 31 October 2026
If you change your mind
- Ask by your refund date and we'll refund the full amount, for any reason, whether or not you've published the invitation or sent it to guests.
- Your refund date is 14 days after you pay, or 7 days before your wedding's first event if that comes sooner. We show it beside the pay button, and you accept it on the payment page before you pay. It's printed on your receipt from Paddle, and the wedding's Settings page shows it to the owner until it passes. Changing your event dates afterwards doesn't change it.
- If your first event is less than a week away when you pay, a change of mind isn't refunded. We tell you before you pay.
- This covers a first payment and an upgrade, and each has its own refund date. Refunding an upgrade refunds what you paid for it, and the wedding goes back to the designs it had before.
If your wedding is called off
If your wedding is cancelled before its first event, tell us and we'll refund you in full, even after your refund date. If it's postponed, change the dates on your invitation. You don't pay again.
What a refund does to your invitation
Once a payment is refunded, the wedding no longer has the designs it paid for. A live invitation that uses one of them goes offline, and guests' links stop opening it. Your wedding, guests and replies are kept, so you can choose a design the wedding still has, or pay again, and publish.
If something goes wrong
If the service doesn't do what we said it would, for example a guest's link won't open or replies aren't being recorded, tell us. We'll fix it. If we can't fix it within a reasonable time, or the problem is serious, we'll refund you. This applies at any time, not only before your refund date.
Your rights under consumer law, such as the Consumer Guarantees Act in New Zealand, the Australian Consumer Law and the Consumer Rights Act in the UK, apply as well as this policy, and so does any right to cancel that the law where you live gives you. Nothing here limits them.
If we close the service
We'll email everyone with an account at least 30 days before, and refund in full anyone whose wedding's last event hasn't happened yet.
Cancelling
- There's no subscription, so nothing renews and there's nothing to cancel.
- If you leave the payment page before paying, you aren't charged.
- Taking an invitation offline or deleting a wedding doesn't refund a payment. If your refund date hasn't passed, ask for your refund first. If you've already deleted the wedding, you can still ask: send us the email address your receipt went to.
How to ask for a refund
- Email support@indianweddinginvites.com from the address on your account or the one your receipt went to, with the couple's names.
- We reply within two working days. We refund through Paddle, back to the card or account you paid with, and it usually shows within 5 to 10 working days.
- We refund in the currency you paid in. If your bank converted the payment, the amount you get back in your own currency can differ a little with the exchange rate, and we can't refund fees your bank charged.
- Please email us before disputing a payment with your bank. It's usually the faster way to get your money back.
Free and discounted designs
If a promotional code lowered your price, we refund what you paid. If it took your total to nothing, there's no payment to refund.
These rules are part of our terms of service.
